DUNN Brands is an independent Sales and Marketing Agency promoting decorative lighting and light commercial lighting fixtures, lighting controls, ceiling fans, home décor and other related products to the trade.  Our service area covers the Pacific Northwest which (for us) includes WA, OR, ID, MT, AK, and HI. 

DUNN Brands began doing business in 1979 and has now reached into its third generation.  The business was originally founded by Gary Hessel (Gary Hessel and Associates) out of Portland OR, Dave Dunn joined in 1982 with another arm of the business out of the Seattle market (Dave Dunn and Assoc.).  In 2000 Jason Dunn joined the business and the name was transitioned over to Dunn Lighting Sales LLC.  Gary retired in 2006 and that is when Dave and Jason became partners in the Agency.  In January 2020 Jason acquired DUNN Lighting from Dave to become 3rd generation to run the business. In 2020 we rebranded to DUNN Brands to better define our product offering, as we service all aspects of the home from lighting, to ceiling fans, to lighting controls, to furniture, to art, etc.

We are proud of what we do, and our business has continued to grow in a quickly changing business environment.  We are honored that many of our manufactures we have been partnered with us since they started in the industry. Setting ourselves ahead of the competition we not only have a great team of people that work together daily to drive demand for our product lines along with back-end office support.  We also have invested in having an office in both the Seattle WA market and the Portland OR market. Bryan Swindler heads our Portland office as Director of Sales for DUNN Brands.  Bryan has over 15 years experience in the Lighting industry having experience working for both manufactures and distributors in sales manager roles.

In 2020 Dunn Lighting LLC rebranded to DUNN Brands, combing our DUNN Lighting division with our DUNN Décor Division.  Brooke Randall heads our "trade" division and in just two short years with the company has already been named rep of the year by Hubbardton Forge.  Brooke puts focus on the DUNN Brands portfolio of products through the designer and home furnishing trades.  Retail is not dying, it’s changing, and we will find continued growth in all distribution channels by covering all aspects of the lighting and home decor business.

With 2020 being the year of change, DUNN Brands partnered with an industry veteran in the PNW in Mike Funsinn and his Agency Pac-West Sales.  Pac-West Sales merged their lines into the DUNN Brands portfolio bringing more depth to our offering along with adding yet another industry pillar to our team of people.
